Trust no one – a phrase I’ve heard and read, but its weight became clear only when I stepped into leadership. It’s then you see, in stark contrast, the divide between business interests and loyalty. People reveal their true priorities, and it’s a sobering sight. Trust becomes a choice, not a given.
