Omooba Rasheed Adewale Adesupo Quadri was born on the 16th of November 1967 to Dr Olukayode Aderemi Quadri, a prince of both Fusengbuwa and Fidipote ruling houses of Ijebu Ode and Princess Dr Mrs Moninuade Adegbeminiyi Quadri, Erelu Gbogboade of Owu kingdom. A distinguished son whose life journey reflects dedication, enterprise, and an enduring commitment to service, community, and excellence.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, a discipline that provided him with a solid foundation in understanding the earth, its resources, and their value to human advancement. In his quest for broader impact, he further obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Management, equipping him with strategic insight, leadership acumen, and the ability to navigate complex business environments.
He began his professional career in the oil trading sector, where he demonstrated strong commercial awareness, integrity, and a deep understanding of global energy markets. He subsequently expanded into third-party logistics, contributing to efficient supply chain operations and earning a reputation for reliability and excellence.
In alignment with his academic background and passion for resource development, he established Geopetra Resources Limited, a mining consultancy committed to advancing responsible mineral exploration and supporting small-scale mining initiatives. Through this enterprise, he has contributed to unlocking economic value while promoting sustainable practices within the sector.
With a forward-looking vision, he also founded Quad Solutions Ltd, through which he delivers IT consulting and digital transformation services. Leveraging his expertise in governance, risk, and compliance, he supports organisations in strengthening their systems, enhancing resilience, and aligning with global standards.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, he remains deeply rooted in community and service. He is a devoted member of NASFAT, where he upholds values of faith, discipline, and societal contribution. He is also an active member of the Royal Crest Club, a body known for its commitment to educational development and community advancement in Ijebu and Remo lands. In addition, he belongs to Egbe Jagunmolu Okunrin Fehintade Akile Ijebu, an esteemed age-grade association that fosters unity, cultural heritage, and collective responsibility among its members.
In further demonstration of his commitment to youth and education, the maiden edition of the Omoniinu Foundation Essay Writing and Debate Competition was successfully held in March this year, bringing together secondary schools across Owu. This initiative, which is set to become an annual event, reflects his passion for nurturing young minds, promoting intellectual engagement, and inspiring the next generation toward excellence.
