Today, April 1st, 2025 is a significant day for me as it marks the launch of my legacy project, ORUNTO OWU ABEOKUTA. This online platform is an extension of my reading culture advocacy, aimed at promoting enrichment through the internet to a wider audience.
ORUNTO . OWU . ABEOKUTA is a mixed grill of information, enlightenment, entertainment, and education. Our goal is to provide fresh and relevant content, presented in an engaging format that includes photos, photographs, and vintage stories.
The name ORUNTO . OWU . ABEOKUTA represents the preservation, promotion, expression, and documentation of people, places, and events. It’s a platform that relives memories of old times and relates them to contemporary living, without losing the core objectives and lessons.

As we launch this project, I’m reminded that April 1st is also April Fools’ Day, a time-honored tradition of playing practical jokes and hoaxes on unsuspecting friends and family. But for us, today marks a genuine milestone.
