Friday, June 2nd, 2023, marked a significant day as a three-member team, led by Abiodun Oladimeji Lasile, embarked on a pre-event expedition to Orunto Village. The team’s objective was to finalize arrangements for the installation ceremony of Chief Dauda Kasimawo Alani Oyewusi, the seventh Baale of Orunto, an ancient settlement founded by Enlonka.
During their journey, the team stopped at Olorunda, where they attended to the final details of Olowu’s impending visit. The Olu of Olorunda, along with the Baales and Chiefs of the region, expressed enthusiasm for welcoming His Majesty Olowu Oluyalo, the special guest at the Baale Orunto installation ceremony.
The team inspected the event venue, making crucial decisions regarding various matters. Mr. Lasile ensured OGTV’s readiness to broadcast the event.
“With everything I have witnessed firsthand,” exclaimed Lasile, “we are fully prepared to receive HRM, Oba Prof. Saka Adelola Adisa Matemilola FNSE, Otileta VII Olowu Oluyalo of Owu Kingdom Abeokuta.”
