During a previous courtesy visit, l presented the king with a large portrait . The Orunto of Owu Kingdom, Chief Abiodun Lasile, the strong media guru and reading culture exponent was also in attendance. This gesture highlights the strong connection between the king and his community.
King Matemilola’s ascension to the throne was a significant event, marked by a coronation ceremony in October 2022. As the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, he has shown commitment to the development of his community, continuing a legacy of service and leadership.
