Nigerians have been urged to write books to ensure their lives and times are recorded for posterity.

The General Manager, Paramount FM, Abeokuta, Mrs Oluremi Olugbenro, gave the advice while receiving the Executive Members of the Association of Nigerian Authors, ANA, Ogun State Chapter in her office.
She said she would have created a special programme for ANA to propagate its activities but for the daunting challenge of power currently being faced by Paramount FM, Abeokuta.
She pledged continued support for the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) and its activities on regular basis.
Also speaking, the station’s Head of Programmes, Pastor Oladapo Oyekanmi said ANA was not a stranger to Paramount FM adding that “having ANA as a partner is an asset”.
Speaking earlier, the Chairman of Ogun ANA, Dr. Abiodun Lasile, promised to enrich the library of Paramount FM with sundry books in order to further promote literacy and the reading culture in the society.
Dr. Lasile who is also the Orunto of Owu Kingdom asked for mutually beneficial partnerships that would boost literacy by enthroning knowledge in this fast paced, technologically driven world.
